Buildings and Maintenance Team
This includes cleaning, gardening, repairs, painting and decorating. repairs have included repairing and replastering part of the ceiling in the administration office. Painting has included the hall, stairs and landing at the rear of the church. Many thanks to Ivan McCullum and Brian Kemp as well as Alf Chadwick and Phil Barnes for their gardening work. Work has been undertaken to investigate the cause of ingress of water above the AV platform and above the balcony. Broken slates have been replaced and drains and gullies cleaned. The area above the projector/screen wall has also been inspected and cleared. Work will commence shortly to repair the damage to the wall. Many thanks to Richard Baker for his help and expert advice. Also many thanks to Colin Howe and other volunteers who have helped with "man handling" the ladder for accessing the roof areas.
