The Care Team

Care Team Report 2007

I would especially like to praise the Lord for all his blessings in the name of Jesus, who gives abundant life as we seek Him and reach out in care for others.

I would like to extend a well deserved thank you to all the Care Team members for their continual support in this ministry, their contribution, time spent in prayer, visiting and telephoning all those in need of prayer and support. We welcome new people into the church; we have our own finances for the ministry for flowers and get well cards.

The Care Team has a prayer chain which is used when people are in need of prayer and is on-going. The ministry has a visitation programme which includes Anglesea Heights, Howard Count, Barham and Copdock Nursing Homes. In October we have been invited to Histon Baptist Church for the first time. Truly the Lord is opening doors for this ministry.

We have the privilege of having The Joy Sisters and Laurie and Ruth Englefield as part of the team (Praise the Lord). They also sing at Ladies functions. We thank and praise the Lord for the way he has blessed and brought us together, which He has done as one body. We meet monthly to share, pray and seek guidance as a group for the future. We experience the presence of the Holy Spirit we know that we are being blessed as He leads us in the right direction.

In closing, I would like to thank the Care Team once again for their contribution and commitment, also Pastor Felix for his help and encouragement and the support we have had from Pastors Mick and Harold.

May the Lord continue to bless us as a team, as we move forward.

Alf and Pauline Chadwick.
