Gospel Choir

Hi I am Myrtle - One of my roles is leader of the Ipswich International Church Gospel Choir:

I became a Christian at the tender age of 13 and I have been engaged in Christian ministry most of my life and absolutely love it. I have been at IIC for approximately six years and at present assist Maureen Huntly as part of the Church Admin team.  I am also involved in pastoral support, prayer and healing ministry. 

I am one of five siblings all of whom along with my parents have been involved in church ministry and have a passion for education and social welfare(ie we are either educators or social workers).

After ten years as a social worker I recently spent two years with an International music ministry. 
My father (John White) is currently a deacon within the church family.

My vision is for my role to be taken on by someone else (another!) ... Really ... we want to see the choir ministry grow as we encourage and support the gifts of each member.  I also pray that our unique style will develop giving a true reflection of the diversity of cultural heritage of the Ipswich International Church family.
