Our Vision

After just a short while as Pastor I believe God directed me to dig deeper foundations of love and unity within the body of Christ. Also to prepare for a visitation of the manifest presence of God resulting in numerical increase. This has inspired much of the ongoing programme we are seeking to put in place. We have been working at improving the facilities of the church and this will continue. We are also through our ‘Life Groups’ emphasising the importance of entering into the presence of God.

Since October we have been holding monthly ‘Healing’ services on Sunday evenings. At the first service we had well over one hundred in attendance, two folk make a commitment to Christ and others testified to God’s healing touch, and services since then have proved equally blessed.

We are ready to go to two morning services when necessary as well as look for additional premises to house extra activities. The new work at Wattisham is continuing to make progress under the leadership of Pastor Harold and a team of helpers. We have strengthened our ties with the work at Saxmundham and encouraged Ann Simpson who leads the church in her ministry.

I recognise above all else that we need to seek the face of God until we see revival. One of our faith statements over the past few weeks is the ‘The King is Coming’.

In the year to come I am looking for a greater move of the Holy Spirit than we have ever seen before. We want our church to be the abiding place of the Spirit; to see lives transformed week by week as they come into the manifest presence of God; to reach out to the community around us and see many ‘born again’; to seek first to build the Kingdom of God in Ipswich.
