Our Worship Team
Here are some articles by our fantastic worship leader Noel Pattern.
Hi I am Noel - My role is Director of Worship.
I have been saved going on seventeen year, with only one two year holiday.
Musically I have a family history of bagpipers and drummers going back eight generations. My Dad was Head of a Military Army Bag Pipe Band my Uncle the Head of Edinburgh City Police Band way back yonder. My first Instrument was a snare drum, followed by a tin whistle, followed by a Bodhran, or frame drum. After my parents' died I discontinued in the musical traditions of Family. But when I came to faith I took it up with a new meaning and a new Purpose.

As a drummer complimenting my role in the church I am head of Psalm Drummers East Anglia, of which I have been a member of Psalm Drummers since it began in 1996 in London by Drummer Percussionist an Author Terl Bryant, www.terlbryant.com www.psalmdrummers.org.
Psalm Drummers has led me all over the world with mainstream artist, working alongside Christian musicians of all calibres, at some of the UK & Europe's largest Christian events. Green belt, The Call, Champion of the World, Calling all Nations Berlin. Drumming and percussion is the back bone of any Christian band, and I pray it increases. The Bible declares, in the Psalms to Strike the Drum, to play the Harp, to Sound the trumpet and declare that Christ is indeed returning.
Worship breaks barriers, strongholds, in Ipswich International church, we are not about musical excellence or perfection per se, but we are about Commitment to the Lord and dedication and commitment to our calling and our Gifting. The Vocalists and the Musicians in Ipswich International Church are dynamic, gifted, strong and real people of substance.
It was said that there was no point having a worship group if you don't have a worshiping Church. I have witnessed not only commitment and gifting in worship among the musicians, but I have seen a heart for Worship in Ipswich International congregation like none other in East Anglia, there are times my team will cease from singing during a morning meeting, but the congregations carries on. Clearly this unique appetite for worship and praise has to be met with a dedicated skilled team of worshipers/ musicians and I am proud to be involved in this unique move of God.
In an atmosphere of worship and praise, we realise and acknowledge that it is indeed a time for reflection, healing, and correction, encouraging and prophesy. Worship I believe is integral to the Church to Compliment the Word and to usher in God's people into His presence.
